School Traditions
Seasons at Heritage are celebrated through a variety of school traditions that take place every year. Many community events invite current families to work and play together. These events include our Back to School Celebration, our Winter Solstice Poetry Recital and Sing-Along, our St. Francis Shelter Giving Program, our family trip to Westwind camp on the Oregon Coast, our International Festival, and the End-of-the-Year Pizza Party. Other events (such as Halloween Skits, Dia de Las Muertas, Thanksgiving Letters, Kris Kringle, ExploraVision group presentations, Biography Oral presentations, Valentine's Day Boxes, and Book Bonanza) occur during the school day. They are attended only by currently enrolled Heritage students. Alums and community members are invited to our annual Back to School Social on the first weekend after school starts in September.
Through these traditions, we honor Heritage's legacy and create new memories.
